Geoffrey Mac presented his Fall 2012 collection at Exit Art in New York City, the place where I attended my first New York Fashion Week show two years ago, so I was thrilled to be back. But I almost wished i had gotten back there for Diego Binetti, just like two years ago.

Geoffrey Mac is designer who caters to a very specific audiences, and even though the style is not my cup of tea per se, the catwalk was nonetheless entertaining. Heavy-metal-meets-fendome-fetish probably best describes Mac's Fall 2012 line, with leather, latex and wool dominating the runway. There were a few dresses and gowns with interesting leather hip details, very similar to the cone-shaped bra Madonna wears in her Vogue video. Despite all the drag queen outfits, it was interesting to see a different point of view. After all isn't this what fashion is all about?
